LFGSS – London Fixed Gear and Single Speed

What Ho! Captured so authentically in B&W  (Yashica Twin Lens Reflex) by Adam Scott, some photos of the LFGSS forum guys and gals on their recent ‘Tweed Run’.  Starting from Saville Row, they took a very civilised route to Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, with a short stop at Tourdeville bike store along the way for refreshments. Dress code: ‘woollen plus fours, harris tweed jackets, flat caps, fair isle jumpers, alpaca coats, merino wool team jerseys, cycling skirts and perhaps a jaunty cape for the ladies, cravats or ties for gentlemen, and of course a hip flask of brandy’ . Prizes were awarded for those with the most panache and authenticity.

I’m keen on attending next year’s event if Justine (kudos for another excellent link my dear) can bally-well remind me about 6 months prior to begin cultivating some facial hair – a stick-on tash just wouldn’t be cricket!
