Helen Dardik – One Lucky Helen!

I’ve decided to inaugurate a section on Canadian creative people. As my new home is in Ottawa, it’s fitting that I should start with a local. I’m pleased with my choice, as these pages, and the blog owner’s foggy mind, require the reflected glories of some bold colours and a good helping of whimsy.

Helen Dardik was born in Odessa by the Black Sea, lived in Siberia, studied art and design in Israel, then moved to Canada in 1993 where she began working as a graphic designer and illustrator. I’ve selected a handful of my favourites.

With a bit of luck I might run into her one day and chat.
